Our friends at CONECT have the following event that might be interest to members.
A Footwear & Apparel Import Classification Seminar, and a Forced Labor Luncheon Session will be presented by CONECT on May 30th (9AM-4:15PM) at the Hampton Inn Conference Center in Natick, MA. Two CBP National Import Specialists have been invited to speak (pending approval). The following Trade Attorneys will extensively cover the three topics:
1) Robert Silverman, Partner – Grunfeld, Desiderio, Lebowitz, Silverman & Klestadt LLP will lead the morning Footwear Import session
2) Marilyn-Joy Cerny, Partner – Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg will cover the luncheon session on Forced Labor
3) Paula Connelly, The Law Offices of Paula M. Connelly will lead the afternoon Apparel Import session
